The handstand is the ultimate bodyweight exercise. To balance in a
handstand requires strength, flexbility, and motor control. This workshop will cover the fundamentals of handstanding. Whether you have never tried to handstand but always wanted to, or have a freestanding handstand you would like to improve upon, this workshop is for you. The GMB approach to handstands is safe and progressive, with exercises and drills for every level.
In this workshop, we will cover stretching and mobility work to improve your handstand, body positioning for handstands, getting into and out of a handstand, strengthening exercises to improve shoulder and core strength, and endurance for handstands.
